I completed my PGA training and qualified as a PGA Professional in 2014, soon after I became Head PGA Professional at Wells Golf Club in January 2015. Following my successful retail, coaching and custom fitting impact at Wells Golf Club I was awarded the 2015 Golf Industry ‘Breakthrough Professional of the Year Award’ I am an extremely passionate golf coach and continually develop my knowledge to improve the service I offer clients, my success resulted in my appointment as Somerset Golf Union U16 Performance Coach in 2016. Tom Maggs - Assistant PGA ProfessionalI had a successful experience as an amateur golfer and chose to develop my skills further through turning Professional, I completed my PGA Foundation Degree to become a fully Qualified PGA Professional in early 2017. I’m an extremely passionate golf coach and coach all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced golfers, I feel I have a great skill in tailoring my coaching style specifically to my clients. Whilst being dedicated to providing a variation of coaching services, I also enjoy getting involved within ‘Get into Golf’ group coaching, members group coaching, golf clinics and individual lessons. Alongside my coaching skills I am also a qualified custom fitting specialist and have attended certified fitting courses to extend my knowledge further to enhance your experience. Luke Collins - Assistant PGA ProfessionalFollowing a highly successful amateur career, winning the Finland Amateur and Berkshire Trophy, representing England Golf worldwide and Somerset, I turned professional off a +4 handicap. Since then I have completed the PGA Foundation Degree in Professional Golf from the University of Birmingham, gaining PGA class A status and membership in 2017. I have developed my teaching methods from my knowledge base and elite level playing experience, I feel my skillset and at ease approach give me a great platform to tailor each session to individual’s needs, this enables me to work with a variety of clients, from beginner to elite level on an individual basis and a group coaching environment. I continue to develop my coaching ideas by researching and gaining further qualifications to help enhance your experience as a golfer. My aim as a coach is to help prepare you to play and compete to the best of your ability.
